The Kelvin Ensemble is the University of Glasgow's student-run orchestra, performing challenging works with a number of guest conductors at concerts throughout the year.
Next Concert
Our next concert will be an informal evening of chamber music from Bach to Lady Gaga to Sousa to Coldplay, all performed by members of the orchestra on the 20th March at the Glasgow university Concert Hall.
Joining the orchestra
We will be auditioning for the new academic year in September/October. Please contact stringmanager@kelvin-ensemble.co.uk or bwp@kelvin-ensemble.co.uk (brass, woodwind & percussion) if interested.
String Quartet
Within the orchestra, two string quartets have been formed and are looking for gigs, contact stringmanager@kelvin-ensemble.co.uk if you are interested in booking one of our quartets.
